Toronto FC vs La Galaxy Match Preview, Free Picks & Prediction
Toronto sit ninth in the Eastern Conference and lost 4-2 against LAFC before heading into the international break, while this weekends opponents LA Galaxy have dropped down to eighth in the Western Conference and are on a run of six MLS games without a win. The head to head record between these two clubs is very close and with both teams in poor form this game could be tough to predict, but one thing we are expecting is goals.
Toronto put up a good fight against LAFC last time out, but the superior finishing of their guests lead to a disappointing 4-2 defeat at home. Mexican international Carlos Vela put the visitors in front in the twenty-second minute with what turned out to be the only goal of the first half.
LA Galaxy can have no complaints with the final score as their defending was so poor at times against Real Salt Lake, but this weekend’s visitors will be hoping that the international break provides the clean slate needed to end this six game winless run.
Ibrahimović is still the number one goalscorer in the LA Galaxy camp as you would expect, with the Swede on sixteen league goals for the season and in need of a good defensive display from his team on Sunday.
Toronto FC News:Auro, Mavinga, and Vazquez are expected to miss this weekends game through injury.
La Galaxy News: The visitors have no fresh injury concerns or suspended players following the international break.
